About me

From a young age, I've had a keen interest in music. I started my music education when I was 8 years old as a tuba player. Through the years, I've gained a variety of skills in compositon, music theory and performance, both as a solo musician and as a part of an ensemble. Since starting my music education, I have finished a final examination from Iceland’s music high school Menntaskólinn í Tónlist. I have also sung in a choir for more than 6 years and played in numerous youth orchestras over the years as a tuba player as well as with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra on occasion. In 2023, I finished a University program in composition from the Icelandic University of the Arts. Since then I have started a master’s in Composition for film TV and media at the Malmö Academy of the Arts.
